Circle Cradock's executive committee held their recent committee meeting in the Pearston Country Inn. The hostess for the day, Delia Coetzer, prepared a lovely tea with eats for the committee upon their arrival. Some of the committee members travelled nearly 480 km to attend the meeting, and had to travel the same distance back home again.

President for Circle Cradock, Ronell Herselman, discussed the past year's problems and plans for the New Year were decided upon. The conference will also be held in Pearston's Country Inn, and the attendants will all be able to reside in the Inn for the duration of conference.
A midday lunch was served in grand style consisting of a rolled and filled chicken breast with spinach and mozzarella, a tasty fresh green salad with egg as well as bruschetta made up the main meal, with cheese cake triangles with cherries and ice cream for pudding. The meeting continued into the afternoon, and the ladies could return home again at half past three.
Pearston is a farming community, very much dependent on good rains - and the CWAA Committee members saw to it that their visit will be remembered, because lovely soft rain fell for the duration of the meeting. The cozy Inn really was the ideal venue for our committee meeting, and will be filled to capacity with the conference in March 2011. All the lounges will be used for the conference articles, and the antique bedrooms will definitely be enjoyed by attendants of the conference.
As it usually goes with CWAA get-togethers, serious matters were discussed, but everyone also had a good laugh. Friendships were once again renewed and refreshed. Everybody went home, filled with excitement in expectation of what the New Year will bring.
