Cape Town Circle donated 132 Rotary Comfort Boxes to the Nonceba Center for abused children in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. These ice cream boxes contain: a facecloth, soap, a toothbrush and paste, a pair of panties, sweets and a soft toy. A Comfort Box is given to an abused child during his or her initial counseling session.
The Circle also received a large number of blankets and bed socks from the six branches which will be handed to the Mother Teresa foundation to be distributed to children’s homes, old age homes and crèches where there is a great need.
